They're home and safe...

Home and safe is what counts, but counting is something that most taxpayers will be doing this weekend. What am I talking about?
Well here is a snip of an article in today's CNN website.

Landing in California means it will cost $1.7 million and take up to 10 days to get it home to Florida aboard a jumbo jet.

Atlantis had enough power for its systems to orbit until Sunday, but managers didn't want to wait that long. The flight would have been extended to Sunday only if technical problems needed to be fixed.

I'm curious as to how much dollar wise would it have been to just wait until Sunday. I hope this "manager" decision won't upset too many payers.

Yeah, you are up to something important.

I do remember in the early 70's, when all big companies started their "ecopornographic" campains.
This year its all started again. May that result in something better than "Green" politicians flying to their "important" meetings. Have they never heard about TV - conferences? Or do they are afraid the tail of media do not will give them Front coverage.

I say: don't trust media. Don't trust politicians that talks and never acts. They have their friends in the media. Trust me on this point.

Have a wonderful weekend.
