Roman vs Roman

“To destroy what we, or at least I put my whole hope on, to destroy them is wicked,” said Augusta.

Her ex-husband's attorney says to not destroy them is to render contracts with fertility clinics around the country worthless.

This scenario is ugly right from the beginning, ugly because one wants to give life while the other wants to honor a contract signed by both parties. I see where the woman is coming from and her wishes to keep the embryos and hope to have children. While I also understand the gentleman's point as well - the two had a divorce and by that I'm sure that his ties with her are no longer tight. The last thing he wants to do is have kids that will undoubtedly be his, so he will have to supply support for the mom and for the kid(s). This case will be one to keep an eye on, but I'm pretty sure that given the facts - the contract will be the major play card throughout this battle.
