At CNN.com I learned that New York's mayor Bloomberg is trying to get over 1200 cabs to convert to Hybrid. I don't think this would be a good idea for a small city like Toledo but for a city the size of New York this would be more effective to the people walking the streets then it would the planet. I have visited the city in the past and the first thing that I notice is the cabs running around that can use a little tune up or a possible replacement. I wish the mayor the best on this endeavor, and I hope that the companies follow along.
