My heart goes out to the family of the pilot flying the Blue Jet number 6. The name of the pilot and information about him were being withheld for 24 hours, per a Department of Defense policy. The Blue Angels were founded in 1951 and have been performing each year for millions of people. I hope that with this incident they don't give up performing for many fans at popular air shows.
