Saturday Photo Hunt - Happy

The image to the right is that of my brother and our very own Muddy the Mudhen mascot. He had a great time that day. The president of our company signed us up to participate in a Dragon Boat race that takes place here annually. Although we did not win any of the top spots we all had a fun time.

Saturday Photo Hunt - Two

This one came to mind when I read the theme was going to be 'two'. This picture was taken by me when I attended a ceremony for the Veterans on our new 'Veterans Skyway Bridge'. I participated in the flag holding portion of the event. When this shot was taken the wind had just picked up just before i was ready to take the shot so all I got was two of the five points of a star. The shot was supposed to look like this. I have a few other views of the underside of this massive flag. Have a good weekend!

Saturday Photo Hunt - Funky

I spotted this lamp in our downtown about two months ago and I figured for some thing that looks that funky it sure deserves it's picture taken. It has that antique funk to it.

Saturday Photo Hunt - Shadow

I took this shot on opening day for the Toledo Mud Hens, they are the local baseball team that has won the championship title now twice, back to back even. Anyways, these statues were created to add that special warmth feeling of kids back in the day sneaking a peak of one of the many baseball games. The shadow that they cast is one that has me wondering how many kids in the past growing up have actually gone to see the game and ended up getting sun burned by standing there for too long. You know that most ball parks had fences with a few too many holes :)
Or when a shadow would form just above theirs and they knew that it wasn't another buddy of theirs joining in on the fun but that of a police officer wondering why these kids aren't behaving themselves.
